what I'm doing right now

I'm an operator in Toronto running 36 production agents across self-hosted OpenClaw infrastructure and cloud agent platforms. This page is the current focus log: live projects, recent shifts, operating mode, and the inputs shaping the next build.

◆◆◆ 01 - right now / focus
  • 01 Shipping kevinz.ai operator-terminal site v2. Design audit foundation is in; the next visible work is the business-card hero, particle field, Commander demo, and newsletter preview.
  • 02 Training the 36-agent fleet to cost less and fail smaller. Heartbeat checks, config drift detection, daily cost reports, auto-dispatch, and free-fleet routing are the current operating loop.
  • 03 Writing The Agent Report and the May build diary queue. Scout, config drift, cost routing, and OpenClaw evolution updates shipped into the post registry; X derivatives are staged for review.
  • 04 Tightening Commander and OpenClaw as public proof. Commander stays the command layer. OpenClaw automation now sits at 30 scripts plus 5 reference docs.
◆◆◆ 02 - recent shifts / last 30 days
  • 01 Agent count rebased to 36 after jason removal. 36 is the canonical number as of 2026-05-01. Older fleet-count copy is now brand drift to remove.
  • 02 Standalone routes moved to directory pages. The about, uses, and now surfaces now follow the directory pattern that works locally and on Vercel.
  • 03 The /uses page got the homepage TopBar. Full nav, uniform tool grid, local logos, and 36-agent copy are already live there; /now now follows that shell.
  • 04 OpenClaw automation went from script list to article engine. The 30-script catalog, daily 8am briefing, auto-dispatcher, cost tracking, and heartbeat pieces are now source material for the next posts.
  • 05 Brand canon moved back to files. BRAND.md wins for voice, numbers, and banned vocab; posts stay file-canonical with Resend as the newsletter path.

  • 01 Derek Sivers' /now pattern. A current-focus page should read like what I'd tell a friend I had not seen in a year: priorities, location, mode, and what changed.
  • 02 The 10 Commandments of AI Infrastructure. The operating rules behind corrections, memory promotion, routing boundaries, and automation that earns its keep.
  • 03 Cost-Optimized LLM Routing + OpenClaw Evolution. Current doctrine: route by judgment, keep observability cheap, write down failures, and turn repeated corrections into rules.
